Sligo’s agents connect to a company’s own systems, from its ERP to its procurement and contract tools, and do the work: sourcing strategies, supplier evaluations, contract analyses. Sligo was running deployments for demanding customers while those workflows grew more complex.
Everything we built had to pass one test, and Sligo’s team held every feature to it: could a customer deploy it, debug it, and trust it with their data?
“What stood out was Rubric’s ability to work across product, infrastructure, and architecture without losing sight of enterprise constraints.”
Deploy it
Enterprise customers want software inside their own walls. Sligo had to run in a customer’s own cloud, on dedicated infrastructure, or inside the systems they already use. We built the deployment paths for enterprise clouds and hardened the backend underneath them, from infrastructure to error handling.
Debug it
When an agent gets something wrong, someone has to see why. We reworked how Sligo designs and manages its multi-agent workflows, and built evaluation and monitoring systems so the team, and its non-technical users, could judge results and improve them.
Trust it
An enterprise trusts an agent once it knows what the agent can’t do. We added permissions, policy enforcement and guardrails, so an agent can only do what the customer allows.
In April 2026, SpendHQ acquired Sligo. Congratulations to both teams.
