Client work
What we’ve built.
Agents for Fortune 500 retail, products for developer platforms, and the infrastructure under both. We worked inside each client’s team and helped take the work to production.

Earlier work
The engineers you meet build it.
Rubric Labs is a small team of founder-level engineers. The people on your first call are the ones in your codebase, from kickoff to hand-off.
“Professional executors who came in, crushed the task and handed it off gracefully.”
Good to know.
Is our project a fit?
If AI is at the center of it, likely yes. Teams bring us early ideas, prototypes that need to ship, and systems that are stuck. If we’re not the right team, we’ll say so on the call.
What does it cost?
$40k a month, flat, for every project, and never billed by the hour. It covers two of our engineers in your team: a lead full time in your codebase and a second on architecture, review, and planning.
How do you scope the work?
Before we start, we write a scope of work with you. It begins with research into your problem, then sets expectations on both sides, including how often we meet. Each one is shaped around the problem, so no two look the same.
How long does an engagement run?
The scope of work sets it. Some engagements take a month, others run for a few. Our longest ran close to 18 months.
What happens when it’s done?
We hand it off documented and tested, with a walkthrough for your engineers, so your team runs it from there. Some clients, like Gumloop, have come back to us for their next project.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we write lives in your repo from day one.
Next step
Start with a call.
A 30-minute call about what you’re building. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you on the call.
